Old Man Emu damper threads..?

Hi all...
Does anyone know what the thread is on the bottom pin connection of an OME shock absorber? The nut seems to be 3/4", but I'm not sure if it's an imperial or a metric thread... No idea what's standard in Australia. I've googled but can't find any online info on this.

Reason I ask is that I've damaged the thread on the new one I'm fitting, need to know what die will fit to clear it so the nut will wind on.

Pin and thread size varies a bit between the different shock absorbers.
