Well, my Discovery purchase fell through due to the fact my business partner thought it was too big & not
really what he wanted (FFS) I'm a reasonable kind of bloke so we agreed to get a couple of Subaru WRX
(exactly!) as he has never had a choice in a car & I have. I prefer to always have the exact same cars
each as we are 50/50 partners etc. Don't get me wrong I'm looking forward to the WRX as it's a belting
motor for the money, even if the insurance for business use is rather high! ( we got 2 for 17.5k each
brand new with 3 years free servicing!!)

Anyhow, my Trooper will be gone shortly & I'm not about to give up the 4WD circuit (yeah, I know the
Subaru is 4wd!) & I'm gonna buy myself a nice little project S2a or 3 to play about with. My C&G 381 is
playing on my mind & given a bit of hands-on I can do almost anything (with some help!!!) although it was
20 years ago!

I hasten to add, I am not a mechanic now, in fact I'm an electrical engineer (didn't like the dirty hands
back then!!!) & I really want a S3 for a bit of work, but it has to drive right away!

I wish I had signed the deal for the Disco's without asking him, but that's just not fair! One good thing
will be the fact I can now view the D3 with impunity!!!!

Cheers
