Oils and coolant specs

I know this as probably been covered before but all the searching I've done seem to contradict each other!
Every time I ask a shop for coolant for 300tsi they say orange but internet says not to!
Can anyone clear this up for me please?
Also what oil would the engine want and the 300 gearbox?

How can I tell what oil my different want? It's had disco axles put on but not sure what spline, or year etc. is there a easy way to know which oil?

red 5 year is what I use, oil wise the box is MTF on the R380 I think, transfer will be 85-90, engine 10w40 I think but best check

Cheers bud been told 10w40 mostly so will go with that for the engine!
Just need to sort diffs out now.

Haynes manual details fluid and lube specs. I made up a card with all of the specs which sits under my sun visor so that if I need to buy any I don't have to try and remember what to get. Terrible memory and it comes in handy

Did I read somewhere that GL4 is ok but GL5 can cause probs with brass bits in transfer box?

Well my card above says GL4 and is for the LT230, I've taken these specifications and figures from the Haynes Manual
