hi guys after I have replaced the oil transmission switch and new oil and filter, if the light still comes on what possible things am I looking at after that? Does anybody no? And has anybody had the same problem ?? Cheers

No I did not do that, I have now brought a sensor new atf fluid and a filter, I am going to do it again on the weekend ?

Its hard to understand what you have done from your posts, but it appears you have tried to change the ATF in your Auto gearbox, and it has, in some way not worked - it appears that a warning light is illuminated, but it is not obvious which one.

There is a specific procedure for most auto boxes, and the TD5 is slightly more complex than some.

If you have done the oil change once, and done it wrong, then doing it wrong again will not help you.

The search function on here will find the correct procedure for changing the oil in a TD5 auto.

Please be aware that you know which vehicle you have, but that we do not. We might assume that we are talking about a D2, but it is more than possible that we are talking about a Defender.....

Help us to help you.
