Hi all
I am currently in the process of rebuilding a 130 chassis cab and am just about to start putting the engine back together after a crank regrind, hone & new camshaft & bearings.
Anyway according to the overhaul manual the oil pressure relief spring free length should be 68mm so the one I have taken out was only 45mm so I bought a new genuine spring but that is only 55mm, tbh I think it would be a major task to fit a spring 68mm long in there, has anyone across this before and maybe shed some light on it ?
Also in the manual the oil jet tubes supposedly have sealing washers on them but in the parts manual there are none and when I dismantled it there were none there.
I would be gratefull to hear from anyone else has come across these issues when rebuilding a 300tdi ?

theres 2 washers that need to be by part no ive never found any that fit properly that arent ,are the same as 2.5 na ,2.5td,200tdi,,afu1887l and afu 18798l you need to screw outr one half way up thread before fitting

Cheers for that, I just had a look through the 200tdi parts diagram and found them.
Thats one thing out of the way now just to sort the oil pressure spring.
