I am not to worried because i have a six month warrenty. But i have oil leaking out of the hub on the N/S/R wheel this is more apparent after a high speed run ( well 60mph :) )

Has any one had this problem and is it easy to fix? Will be calling the dealer this week, but i just wondered if it is a common prob` Cheers:confused:

would this be leaking at the inside edge of tit hub or the outside?? outside edge will be a gasket..15mins and an old cornflake packet
inside edge hub seal....... which could run to new brake shoes and ****

Don't want to worry you, but i'm with Slob if it's the inner one, I ended up forking out for new Brake calipers too!!!!

Brake caliper single, cos some eejit had rounded both caliper mounting bolts - 12mm bi-square (i think), meaning I had to remove an entire halfshaft and hub assy, swivels and all, before finally hammering a 9mm hex airgun socket onto the remains of the offending bolts and winding em out with an airgun and lots of rostoff!! The second bolt hammering session broke the caliper unfortunately.

now see, when you wrote caliperS with an 's' at the end i automatically thought you meant calipers plural,
why didn't you drill the heads off the bolts then you could have tried mole grips, wd40 and a 3/16 BOC spanner

Bit beyond that, soaked for 24 hours, turned 1 complete turn (cooling all the while with more rostoff) before snapping at that point with 3 foot breaker bar! I think mole grips would have dug a hole and gone home :p

if you drill the heads off you release the tension so the remaining 'studs' aren't as tight. they can usually be tempted to come out. i've even drill through the 'stud' part and put a small bar through it so i can turn it easier. of course it doesn't work all the time

As I posted, it had already turned a complete turn so there was no tension on bolt - just an awful lot of friction!
