Oil on the IRD

Well its really black sugesting engine oil....unless you have really dirty ird oil....

Maybe an obvious answer but can you see thurther up the engine block, is it leaking from higher up?
It does look quite thick and tar like from the picture, could it be from the cv joint on the prop? although cant see any sign from the photo.
Do you have any more photos.
Also looking at this pic, the Turbinator is in this area.....and what looks like an oil return pipe going into the engine block, maybe this has come loose.....The IRD breather hose is here too, if its come loose also IRD oil could be splashing out...But I would not expect IRD oil to be that black...but you never know? Take the fill cap of the ird and stick your finger in the hole to compare the oils?
