Hi all,

Last weekend I changed my front/rear diff and transfer box oils with EP90 and my gearbox oil with ATF.

Just had the car on ramps and seen that the is oil leaking from both ends of the front prop, which has left a bit of a mess to say the least.

Is it a common thing that with fresh oils because they are thinner and filled to the correct levels that leaks start appearing

The oil that came out if the transfer box was like treacle so glad i done that!

Are the seals at both ends of the prop the same like these ones.....?

Thanks

Did you check the breathers wasn't blocked, I suppose thinner (newer) oil could force its way out

I changed the rear diff seal on mine but it still leaked afterwards, it wasn't until I fitted a wading kit I realised the old breather was blocked..... A week later no more oil drips and yes I checked to see if there was still in it
