Same as you put in the engine, at least that's what I did which I'm sure was correct but it was 23yrs ago.

The oil is not being used to lube anything, just to absorb the dirt from the gauze, so any cheap engine oil will do.
nb. do not fill above the mark in the casing, I used to keep the level just below that.
