Been looking to change our P38 for something slightly newer for a while. Test drove a 53 reg TD5 Disco with 70K on it Saturday. For fear of being abused by the Disco boys it must have been a baden, coz it was not very nice. Engine pulled alright but it was noisy and unrefined and the misses complained we were sitting too close together:confused:

Anyway decided the only Disco we would have was a V8, mint TD5's are silly money. Spotted a low mileage one up norf in a very pale green, rather than waste a ton of petrol and time spotted a disco in the same colour at a dealer in the country not too far away. We head off for a spot of lunch and a gander at the colour and sitting beside it is a mint 02 P38 Vogue SE with 42K on the clock. The rest as they say is history!!

The sevice history all stacked up and a test drive confirmed the mileage. I've paid top dollar for it but the blow was softened by the generous PX offer for our P38, I know he's just taken off some of his margin in the one I've bought.

Picking it up on 1st Feb and was going to put our P38 on here just above the PX price to see if anybody fancied it. But looking at the prices in there I don't think anybody would pay the price.(£3800)

Its black (very shiney) with lightstone leather 2000 on a W, 102K on the clock V8 Vogue. Totally original with the exception of Arnott Gen 3 Air Springs. 1 issue, some low life keyed the rear nearside door (one thin straight line) a few months back, been quoted £180.00 to paint it, dealer is taking the motor with the scratch. Well looked after and if anybody is interested will put it in the for sale section. But would have to be collected and paid for by the end of Jan latest. PM me if you are interested.
