I have just bought a set of MUD-TRAC radials 30/9.50R/15 on 8 spokes purely for green laning does anyone have any idea what the best pressure should be ?

Thanks

Bit like asking how long a piece of string However, it depends on many factors, i.e. do you have a means of reinflating, how much the vehicle weighs, what type of surface you are looking at traversing.
try giving a bit more info and youll probably get a bigger selection of answers HTSH :)

Yes I have means of reinflating. The terrain is mud and flinty stone. The weight is a standard 94 300 Disco so no idea !

Just keep em at the recommended pressures you only need to deflate tyres for very slippery surfaces or loose soft sand. If you need to deflate them lower the pressure by about 10psi.

if yer got lots of sharp stones i.e flint, then you would be better dropping the pressure as this allows the tyre to form around the stone rather than the stone piercing the tyre.

its a bit like ..... if yer had a piece of paper and you poked it wiff yer finger the paper would deflect away from yer finger.. now if yer pull the paper tight and poke it, yer finger will go through the paper.
so by running at full pressure you are 'holding yer paper' tight
