Off road is right

I have a l322 td6.the few days I've used it it's been great.it's had its issues and this is a new one. I need help took it round the block didn't seem to respond as normal. Then it cut out. Started long enough to get stuck in the middle of the road great. Got it home. Turns over attempts to start then dies revs won't hold at all any advice would be good. Had new fuel pumps in line and lift pump was running fine 1/2 tank of diesel in goodles battery. Now it also seams to have a lot of air coming threw the filter HELP LOSING THE WILL TO OWN IT NOW
