of seat belts and hood sticks

I have a series III 88 with shoulder belts mounted to the hood sticks.
I decided to go with a retractable.. as my seat belt parts are rusty and don't function well... and I'm not keen on having a seat belt attached to the hood sticks.

I asked about solutions in a more american based forum.. but there was some deal of argument on what was reasonable to do.

I found a place that sells a seat belt for a "roadster" where its a retractor that will mount directly to a wheel well or seat back type scenario.

I've also heard that some of the rovers come with the seat belts screwed right into the top bulkhead seat belt mounting points. SO, that's where I planned to (subject to change) mount my roadster retracties, when they arrive.

Any thoughts on this from a more rover intensive culture?

Exmoor Trim do a retractable kit, that fits on the centre bulkhead.
Alternatively, you could fit a military roll bar (which fits inside the canvas) and incorporates seat-belt mounts.

yes.. but i'm not in the uk ... so though they have good prices.. by the time it got here.. i'd be retired and the price isn't so good.

No custom rover stuff around here really.

I got the seat belt idea from a picture on exmoor trim..

The old inappropriately named (as it neither causes, hinders nor protects from a ) "Roll" bar... eh.. big.. expensive.. would have to be custom made.
