Are there any recommendations for a OBD reader for use with the Discovery 2?

I have an SRS warnng light on the dash. It's been reset before but now it's back. The airbags are 14 years old now and I wondering if that's why the light comes on.

I'd like to be able see what's causing it and reset it if possible, but I doubt I'll need anything too advanced. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Check the underseat connectors (yellow wires).

Also push the yellow wiring loom towards the wheel from within the under steering wheel fusebox cubby - the plugs like to wiggle free from the back of the rotary coupler (which is also prone to failure with age - you can continuity test it to see by removing the steering wheel cowl and the airbag).

If it's a wiring issue and this restores connection then the SRS light will extinguish without needing diagnostics plugging in.

OK, thanks, I'll check on those points. Got in it today and the SRS light is off, so could well be the seatbelt area.

Nanocom looks fun, but a bit expensive for what I had in mind (I know there are others that are way more pricey though). I was wondering if anyone had experience of anything competent in the £30 - £50 region.....I've never used an OBD reader so I don't really know what you get at different price points.
