O/S/F track rod end

Good Afternoon, how long should it take me to change o/s/f track rod end on a defender 90 1991, any special tools required? how can I tell what thread it is before its off? This has failed for my M.O.T.

How long depends on how rusted up it is. Give it a good wire brushing and soaking in GT85 or WD40 in advance.
It should be RH thread, but I've seen them fitted the other way round.

For the sake of a fiver each, I'd replace all 3 while you're at it and for the sake of 40p each, I'd also fit new clamps.
