where's the best place to get O ring seals and things like that for when I re-fit all my radiators etc?

Largest stockist and manufacturer of "O" rings and seals in the U.K....If they don't have them, nobody will !! Just take your old ones down as a pattern. If you don't have the old ones, you can download their "O" ring catalogue from their website.
I used to use their Trade Counter in Smethwick and from memory, they had a minimum order of £10 so if your bill comes to £8 just make it up with something else. They sell circlips, Loctite and loads of other stuff. The crew at Smethwick were a good bunch of lads and would be happy to help out.
