hi everybody

Ive been a defender fan for years, it was never the time to buy one though, always boring cars on pcp finance deals. Now is the time. I have a 10k loan approved and on the hunt for the most reliable fun defender i can find!

Hope i can find one! Any tios for a first time would be brilliant!

Hello and Welcome to the loonyzone.

I am sure there are lots of people out there ready to part you from your monies..... So tip number one.

Make a list of what you want, What will you be using it for?

Have a scout around for what is being paid for what it is you want and if not available cost up what it would cost to make what you want.

Make / find a friend who knows about Landies and take them along to any viewings, to act as a third party and to stop your heart ignoring your brain.

Good luck.

Cheers

Thanks for the reply and tips!

Defo right on bringing somebody with you, i almost parted with 9k on sight of a blue 110 this morning. Then realised its far far too big!

May be a big and impossible ask, but looking for fun and decent reliability, im hopeless with cars!

Just be aware the 90 is actually quite small, there is not a lot of room in the back when you do start loading it up.

Cheers
