Noticed passenger footwell a bit rotten, on the angled bit (where pedals are on driver side). Is it OK to rivet some decent ally sheet across here or is this structural??

as james said its structural, heaterbox out and cut away rotten steel and weld in new, noticed mine was the same yesterday when i replaced heaterbox
so thats a job for another day

If I was to go for the footwell repair panel, anyoe know how much stuff I would have to strip out for that to be welded??
