Not LR related but need some help please.

Morning all, I've been asked by a mate who lives in Barbados, to try and get him a Nissan cylinder head bolt removal bit, believed to be called a T8.....now I know there is a wealth of knowledge on here, so before I start searching, I thought I'd see if any of you had any ideas, my local mechanic just shook his head!! Thanks .

Don't know what a T8 is. What's he after a spline bit or a torx bit?

I think it's a spline bit Ian, I'm awaiting a little more info, I've logged onto the Nissan site too, but nothing is coming up on their search !

T8 is a small torx bit, I could really only see it being used for holding the rocker cover down

That's what I thought Marmaduke, I'm pretty sure I was told it has ten splines.....I'm still waiting for more info, but thanks for your input, Ian, the set would cover all the bases for sure !
Again I'm pretty sure he said cylinder head, but the T8 doesn't look right, I took over a T80 last month, and he said it was too big!!

t8 is tiny and will not be for holding a cylinder head

tell him he is being a spaz and to measure it properly

There is a guide on there of how to measure it and identify the correct size
