Awesome day!
Sorry I had to leave early. Hope I didn't miss too much!

Deadmans Hill was amazing, bit like a mud slide :D:D:D:D:D:D

Don't know if anyone took pics though, the low cloud was so thick I was following the fog lights in front.

I've had a fantastic day, thanks to everyone who came along GDHaydock for leading one group and Brian for helping me with the other by going first up the scary bits :D:D

Well done to Sarah90 for doing the river instead of the fords at Staling Busk, the Cam Rock steps AND the mud slide on Deadmans Hill. Dave is back :D:D

It will take me some time to forgive Brian for the shower at Staling Busk, I was only taking pics of his Landy . I then spent 3 hours freezing and wet in a Defender which doesn't have the best heater

And Diffs Disco also did well, he nearly drove into the river at Staling Busk off the bridge :eek::eek: because he didn't see how the others had gone in, he thought thats the way they had taken :D:D

No breakdowns and only one puncture for Diff so all the Landys are in one piece. However dont ever leave your Landy with the keys in near nrgserv. I came back from the toilets in Hawes and it wouldn't start. Strangely the wire had come off the injector pump while it was parked  I was being tested on diagnosing problems :fencing:

I think that was adrenalin kicking in , we are both still buzzing ,it was a induction of fire a fantastic first experience.
A very big thank you to every one for putting up with the both of us we are looking forward to our next trip,
and a special thank you to Paul for my first battle scar :lalala:

Shame I didn't get any pics of the deep bit of the river at the start. I followed Pocketrocket thinking if he is OK I will be. Just as I got in the river I realised his Landy is a lot higher than mine :eek::D:D

Some more

A few more. Thanks everyone for a fab day:D.... And sorry for the hold up on dead mans

Does anyone have any pics of Deadmans Hill. I don't, it was too cold to get out of the Landy :eek:

Hope someone took some

Sorry sue I was too busy swearing at Dave lol:p

Poor Dave, he behaved so well today, and is looking good too :D:D

Do you think we should have another trip before the Christmas one. We have Tong on 10th November and I have Wales two weeks later.

Perhaps we could fit one in before Tong :D A shorter one, nearer home perhaps :D
