Sound joe,sounds a good plan.any water about on the lanes,anyone googled them.
 
i need to go get a map... i'm lost without one... just nice to keep track of where i am.. my sense of direction is crap..

got bits ordered.. should be here thursday.. got fri aft off to try get em fitted..

r lass mite be comin too..

just a thought but..... easter weekend.... a64 to east coast...... traffic jams??????

it gets pretty bad where a64 goes from dual carriageway to single track...

i used to go to dalby forest mountain biking a fair bit and got stuck in traffic. i have done the back roads a couple of times but they are such a drag, if you sit in the traffic once you get past the first bit from 2 lanes to 1 it soon gets moving again. think we just need to allow time for traffic jams :mad:
 
wont be on a64 that long will we,oh by the way look out for loadsa scooters at side of road on that stretch,it is scarborough scooter rally national this weekend,mite be litterd with them broke down,l.o.l...
 
now now,ime a scooterboy myself,couldnt possibly do that,besides some of them will be faster than landy,i wont be able to catch em,apart from the silly mod ones with all the mirrors,ad drive over them,or snip their silly ariels off,

go on the york ring road, then up to helmsley and then to pickering. very pleasant road, especially on the bike. should be fairly quite.
 
bit of traffics f##k all,some of those scooter lads will of done hundreds of miles,at least you have comfy seat nick.and prob air con l.o.l
