North Yorkshire Lanes

well butties and flask it is... what bout 9.30 at wetherby services.. and on from there.. anyone got cb's? i ain't but would it be better to have one?

9.30 is good for me if its good for everbody else who is coming, i dont have cb radio either dont think it will really matter mate.

its just summat i been thinkin bout....

just got a new gig for sat night... kick off at 8 in huddersfield..

i'm gonna have to get back to leeds for 6 at the latest...

is that gonna cause any problems????

Nah you'll be back before then mate last time we went think we were back for 3 or 4 at latest. Had a right job on making it myself... i spotted a disco on ebay that caught my eye, commercial resprayed orange with 33's and all the toys i.e. winch, cb, rock sliders, big wheels, suspension, so i put mine on pistonheads and a guy from wales came for it straight away. So i picked the comercial one up yesterday from wigan and what a shed!! its solid and everything works but its that dirty and needy of a few jobs i thought i'd never make it for the weekend and the mrs and her sister are so looking forward to it!

So i bought another disco last night a V8 auto es on a P reg looks mint i'm collecting it tonight it hasa set of mud tyres on it but thats it... so options are just go in that or take the parts off the commercial and put them on this mmmm what to do???? I ended up getting the commercial one for half the price in the end due to the few issues he (didn't) know about, so its not bad on the wallet front, think i'll just take the new one on Saturday and worry bout it next week!!!!

On th plus side i just got my hands on a nice beasty welder so gonna be having a play with that next week

id go in any, dont think the lanes will be too bad, i only have A/t tyres on, the lanes are more rocky than owt, looking forward to going tho, this mite be my last time laning before i become dad , and nick you will be back well before 6 if we are meeting at 9.30, i went at 12 last time and was back for 4 but didnt do all lanes nearby, how many landys are going i think there might be 3 or 4 with me depending but theres defo me and another lad in landys should be a good day out.

no worries mate... i'm sure we will be makin more trips... now we got a yorks thread goin we should be able to keep updating new trips out...

yeh we should keep organising days out in different places round and about i have most maps for yorkshire i enjoy laning and meeting up with new people

No doubt we can get another one organised soon mate Been doing some research theres some nice lanes round windermere near ambleside might be a camp over job that one plenty of camp sites nearby, something to think about anyway

Picked up a new disco on tues so all set for saturday

alright ud aint heard from you in a while hows it going you coming on saturday we're going to rudd land rigg and a few other lanes meeting at wetherby services at 9.30 sat theres a few of us going should be a good day mate

Nice one... i'll get on with it next week and get a post up.... see if we can get hold of a campsite that'll do us a deal or something

would like to that in lake district with you but wont be doing owt like that for a while, and camping in this weather you must be mad haha, i will see when your planning on going see what situation im in to as wether i go.

i got loads of work comin in for weekends... night be difficult for me but i'll see what i can do... i got a caravan so lovely and warm.... too old to sleep on the ground now.. well its not the sleepin its the gettin up off the floor in the mornin thats the problem. ha ha ha ha...
