Meesage for defender 11069 and craigyb
This road is now impassable with only a seriouslly tricked up motor. The lane in question runs from top of Battersby plantation and has had a lot of tree felling over the last 2 years. This has keft the surface very badly erroded. Had a look last Tuesday 11/12/12, and it had not improved.
The Road travells between mr 610x069 at the top of the hill to approximately 588x076 at the bottom where ther is a ford. Used to be anice lane before the forrstry lads took over. Spoke Alan from Total 4x4 Mag who will be informing Glass.

Is this the very North end of Rudland Rigg, Ingleby Bank to Ingleby Ford? Only asking 'cos when I take me son back to Middlesborough I normally have a little trundle around .. ;) What map referencing are you using?

Got it now, it's Coleson .. :)

My Memory Map has only just been re-installed 'cos I changed to W8 a while back and it had a different referencing system set as standard!

Using OS mapping and its on the fringes of Battersby village not far from Stoksley.:D
Will hopefully be taking a group around this area we before New Year.

The ruts in this lane are deep, looks like the local farmers have been using their tractors on it. The stream that runs across it in a pipe is now cascading down the track, the pipe having been broken. Making it a lot worse. All this from tree felling. Council should get the forrestry company to completely re instate the lane.
