Ha ha least mine got me home without n e 6 hr pit stops :) just stuck a couple of the lill stickers on this afternoon

cv more of a clicking than grinding..

i'd still be lookin at bearing... easier to check, jack up each corner and give wheel a wiggle..

i had small overheating problem on way home from work... ended up on hard shoulder for alf hour waitin for it to cool.. took bleed off top of rad n not much water.. bleed was hissin a little when i pulled up so hoping it was just a bit loose and let some air in..

took top off reservoir and still full so squished pipes to get some in rad and drove home no probs... topped up and bled system.... see how i get on tmoz....

Lmao was looking at gettin that :) thought it'd be quite fitting

so best be take herto a car park and drive on full lock

Nothing in the car park and already checked wheel bearings did them when I swapped the wheels at a loss ATM gonna check ball joint on drop arm know that has seen better days might swap that out anyway and see what happens

Joys of automotive ownership :)

did ya swop wheels b4 wales?

could of picked up some crap wading...
Was running the steels for a bit while doing a few pay n plays and this lanes u took us on , then after Wales I washed her an put the alloys back on and as I did each wheel I cleaned round the calipers etc and put some copper grease on some bits and then checked the wheel bearings , also checked all the fluids bar gearbox and centre diff ( will do them tomoz just to say I have lol )

So am still abit stuck as the noise seems to just randomly turn up and then disappear

I usually find that turning the stereo up a couple of notches usually cures most bumps, clicking & squeaks.

My money would have been on a CV joint if the clicking was only apparent on lock but if its there when running straight it almost certainly rules that out. Wheel bearing on its way out? Nothing stupid like crap in your disk / wapped round the drive shaft & connecting the rim or underneath when you're in motion?

Checked checked and checked and the first time was coming down the m62 at 50 in a straight line second time was coming outta asda with it on almost full lock ,
had the stereo on the kids where watching "little rascals" lol while we was on the m62 so it was a rather loud noise , then had radio on the second time :s

I blame nick it's all his fault

Sounds like the problem only surfaces when the radio is on..? You could always leave it off & entertain the kids by playing eye-spy or singing "the wheels on the bus"?

I blame Nick too, dont know who he is but its got to be his fault!

On a serious note; good luck in finding the problem, sounds like its going to be a pig to bottom out :(

Lol eye spy don't work so well when the little one spelling things with the wrong letters or changing her mind half way threw lol , and if I hear bar bar black sheep with all the wrong lyrics again I think my head will explode , lmao and I don't think I was on my own there :)

Best games the number plate game if u spot a plate with 2 letters or numbers the same next to each other u punch some one lol , kinda like mini punch , also if you see a yellow car u shout cheese on wheels and punch some one ........

Kids can be rather violent .
