Normal or Not

So having got all my starting issues fixed, the last couple of days on starting it sounds like a bag of nails/rough until i give a couple of stamps on the accelerator then all is great, is this normal for a 3.5 V8 running carbs or does it point to an issue, i am thinking maybe the carbs are getting worn and need servicing? Other than that it goes great. Still want todo a EFI conversion but lacking the skills and kit

Could be a few things - does it happen if work the accelerator once before you start it?

Due an oil change? Poor oil pressure maybe too

Oil changed around 300 miles ago, due again in three months.. Will get the oil pressure checked at the next service..

worked the accelerator this morning and it did not do it :suspicious:

Strombys or SUs? if HIF/HD SUs could be worn/sticky piston not returning to the deck or not rising when it starts, sticky needle jamming in the jet until the pedal is pushed?
