I am from kings lynn and done pedders way a few times if your landy isn't done take your car you will be fine the only challenging thing about the lanes is struggling to see where your going with the amount of dust if you want some really good lanes go another 30 miles down the road to ely but make sure you take recovery gear and don't go with standard tyres as 100% you will get stuck

The lanes around Ely and Little Downham have only just opened at the end of May - they have TROs on them October through May when the gates are locked shut and you can't drive them.

When they are wet they are very wet and then they dry out they are like rock.....and a complete pain to drive..... thats why Cambs County Council now close them in winter to stop them from being ripped up......

A few around Little Downham are very overgrown as well with privet so if you don't mind scratches on your paintwork you'll be ok......

Good day, next time we should do either Ely or Thetford, I did see quite a lot of potential between Fakenham Mnndford on the way home.
