IIRC newer versions of Chrome have one built in but you have to find it and then jump through hoops to get it working. For those that know what they are doing in windows a neat trick is to redirect traffic to the ad providers in your host file to 127.0.0.1.

I'm running Chrome with Brave Blocker , as a background app. If what Tanis says is correct then it has been changed to a browser. However, there are loads that are compatible with Chrome. It's just a case of trial and error until you find one you like.

Just as an aside, , I'm on mobile and my post numbers show ;)
