Noisy Mantec Roof Bars!!!!!!

Has anyone else got these roof bars? I just fitted them, hit about 30 and they made the same noise as a low flying Jumbo flying over head. If anyone has a "cure" let me know because although they look cool, they're going to have to go if they keep this flippin' noise up!

Dunno if there's one to buy but I can fabricate one. I can leave slats in it to get tie downs through. I'll make one and post pics! Brill idea, a project!!

All roof bars make that noise,it's the sound of drag that's killing your mileage.If they are not in use take them off. Be interesting if your fairing makes it quiet because that will be a drag reduction.

Hmmm there are these ones, they're aero dynamic, although not enough to make the Landy fly, unfortunately! The shape of the Mantecs are causing the air to swirl underneath them and vibrate at a very high frequency so I either cut the vibration by solidifying the bars or make the air pass more freely around and over them.

Ok, should anybody read this, I've solved it. Just don't have the forward bar too close to the front end of the roof, no noise. Phew!
