I have a Landrover Defender 110 Td5 County Station Wagon.

Anyone out there used NOISEKILLER U.K.'s sound-dampening kit on a Defender?? Is it worth the money? Does it work? HOW GOOD is it? (Are any independent reviews available for this product?)

My Td5 is NOT QUIET, it is slowly turning me deff and mad i have just placed an order for Second Skin Damplifier Bulk Kit from car audio direct. i will let you know what i think of this product when i have installed it.

if it aint noisy then it aint a TD5...what character would a TD5 be that glides like a limo? mine is noisy and drefty and i love it

Damplifier came today, looks a bit like lead lashing for roof repairs. comes in 12in x 24in sheets. installed it on the flore pan of a 90 and wow what a difference allready. i would need to finish installing it to other areas before i could rate it properly and take it out for a bit of mway chewing to really see if works.

I used Dynamat Xtreme in mine, made a big difference in my opinion.

I simply stuck on Dynamat Xtreme every ware and then stuck some hard waring carpet on.

i ordered 80 sq foot of damplifier and the plan was to stick it everywhere, make the inside of the cab look like sputnick. will let you know what the end product is lie when completed.

I ordered a noisekiller kit for my Classic so that I could spend some quality time away from my family over Christmas!
It looked really good when it arived, all cut to shape and good quality heavy duty floor mats.
Went to fit it this morning and gave up after half an hour.

The cut to shape pieces in the kit I have don't seam to fit my car! The only pieces that bare any resemblance to what it fits to is the inner tailgate sticky pad. To be fair to Noisekiller, I will call them when they are back at work and ask them if the kit that they sent me is for the correct model of classic Range Rover, albeit that the only difference I know is that the lse has a bigger floor mat in the rear seat area.

Shame really, I was looking forward to getting rid of the exhaust drone!

Yeah. I got a good response from Noisekiller too. "Steve: Thanks." From "the battery bloke" Pity I didn't get such a good response for Cliff & Brian from this forum. They are damn fine blokes with a wealth of knowledge. You lot really need to see the vehicles they get to work on. It's a dream when you visit. They work wonders and are probably the best in the NE of England on chassis changes. And as one individual said: "they're ****s." Check your facts mate. These fellas know. It's a joy to drive into their yard. And I love it.
