I've had my P38 for just over a month now and one of the jobs I have been planning to do is try and get the Playstation working.
The issue is there is no power going to it. I have taken it out and plug it into to the mains and it works fine so I know the unit is good.
I'm presuming there must be an inverter fitted somewhere within the vehicle but not to sure where to start looking?
There is power to one of the screens built into the headrest but nothing to the other.
Has anybody any experience of this set up that could shed a little light on it for me please?
What's fitted is as far as I can tell standard fitment. The vehicle is a 2002 Braemer for which part of the spec for this car was the playstation system.

Any suggestions as to where the power should be coming from without completely removing the interior would be good. I can't find anything in the handbook that mentions a fuse for the playstation either,

I look forward to any replies,

Dave

The Braemer was a limited edition special, there will be no wiring diagrams available, don't think even the Dealers were issued with any for these specials. It's gonna be a labourious task of tracing the wires back until you find where the fault is. My guess would be the inverter, but could just as easily be a fuse, wiring issue etc. Now where the Special Vehicles division would have stuffed the inverter is anyones guess.

Does anybody know where the invertor is for the headrest screens on an Autobiography then?
Hopefully it maybe in the same place!!

Dave

I'm guessing the headrest screens will be 12 volt powered and not mains with an inverter. Never seen mains powered screens in a headrest. But then again, it's a Range Rover........
