No power then dies please help

Please help my discovery drives ok for about 10 mins then starts to lose power then conks out its hard to start again but it does start I've changed the fuel filter which was really bad, but it still does the same thing.

There is a fuel sedimenter aswell, try cleaning that

If its a TD5 and you let filt get that bad you could have expensive trouble, they just dont tolerate muck in system.
What model?

yes it is a td5 what can i do to clean it, also the filter i put in is made by unipart & it doesn't have the built in spring does this matter?
