no go

puma 110 2008 when left for a week or so it starts ok but wont accerate till i rev it out of gear for a while throttle is dead till i do this and it wont pull once this is done away it goes any thoughts?

I had something similar on a friends, his was a breather/fuel filter issue if i remember correctly.

Someone should be along much wiser than me though soon, hope you get it sorted .

I think Kurt is on the right track - fuel filter. Take the cover plate off (behind the offside rear wheel) and check for leaks. If left on there for a long time the filter starts to rot and drip fuel. And lets air in. The small amount of air that gets in is purged out by the high pressure fuel pump - this will be your rough running on start up. Also check all the fuel lines between the fuel tank and the fuel pump on the engine, and all the injector lines - for leaks.

fuel filter been on for about 8000 mls i think it might be the electric accelerater. peddle switch ive just pressed relays down under drivers seat and been out for a drive seens ok at the moment
