No Go!

Hello to everyone in Landyzone: We own a 06 Discovery3 TDV6 HSE Automatic. we were due to start a weeks touring holiday of the west country yesterday, but I Disco's gear box decided to pack up, for some unkown reason it wont engage/lock in drive; We called out the AA and Guise Motors turned out instead, the Mechanic did not know what was wrong, So we are not going anywhere yet, we have an extended warranty with Mapfre. I would be very grateful of help or shared knowledge that could help us get back on the road. Rocky
