a mates just purchased a freelander v reg non runner, was told its the ird box gone but i think its the gearbox but would like your views
goes into all forward gears without the clutch being pressed but no drive, the mph clock increases with every gear change,
crunch on reverse gear selection
i assume if it was the ird the car would select gears as normal but knock, grind or bang on moving???
