No fuel pump purge ?

This is strange.....for the last week or so ive noticed that on startup in the morning when keyed to pos 2 and waiting for the glow plug light to go off, i no longer hear the fuel pump purge? The TD5 still starts with no issue, still plenty of pulling power through the gears so.......why no purge??? anybody have any suggestions as they say "if it ain't broke dont fix it," so i'm a bit reserved to start pulling relays & fuses when the Landy isn't broke!!

Didn't receive any replies on this issue but hey ho!!! So after 3 weeks I decided to have a dig around....only noticeable thing on the drive was "down on power" when at 50mph and accelerating up an incline (felt like firing on 3 cylinders).
Started at the fuel pump NO 12v....checked both fuses (20a) both ok...checked at the fuel pump for good earth...OK. So only one thing left RELAY (green). Checked across the coil that was ok, External 12v applied across the coil and it closed but no continuity across pin 30 & 87 (n/o). New fuel pump relay fitted and the pump whirled & girgled into life...all fixed. So I drove around in my 90 for 3 weeks with a dead fuel pump supply...so a TD5 WILL run with no fuel pump while the system pressure remains constant. TS
