Does anyone know the correct position for the grease nipples on the uj spiders relative to the shaft for both front and rear propshafts (to reduce vibration and imbalance)?

The only ref I can find was from listerdiesel: the front pair to be 180 degrees opposite, and the rear one should be opposite the sliding sleeve nipple – anyone agree???

Currently mine are lined up with the shaft nipple – easy for greasing but I have a slight suspicion that this isn’t the correct alignment. The manual mentions to note the location of the nipples before uj removal to ensure the correct re-assembly – not much use to me!

180 degrees to each other would balance it out i'm sure.

I just marked the old ones on the joints when replacing em and put them back the same.
