I've finally got around to fitting a TD5 speedo into my Ninety and it's working a treat except I don't know how fast (should that be slow) I'm going at night :(

I've wired pin 4 of the top plug into the lights, which I believe is correct, but I have no backlighting when the lights are turned on.

It may just be the bulbs are blown but I can't figure out how to get them out on the TD5 speedo. Does anyone have any suggestions?

To change the speedo bulbs take the speedo out, using long nose pliers (thin ones) or tweezers down the two recessed holes. The blue things you can see are the bulb holders, turn anti clockwise 1/4 turn and remove. Bulb and holder are one unit YAJ100370 and are replaced together. Watch out for replacement bulb price as can vary from a couple of quid each to £14 each

Thanks for the info. I'll have to find something longer and thinner than the pliers I have.
