Newcomer to 4x4's @ Landys!!

Hey guys,

I'm new here and have never really owned a 4x4 before but a close mate of mine has a discovery 300 tdi and I'm hooked on the idea of landy ownership!!

I'm on the look out for a discovery, max budget really 1500-2k which my mate assures me will get me a tidy 300tdi or even an early td5?! I've seen some great examples so far come and go so I'm keeping a sharp eye out now.

A question I do have, LPG conversions, can this be done on diesel Landys or is it strictly for the v8 petrols? Reason I ask is because I work for a rather large lpg supplier so have a decent discount on this gas!!

Bloody hell, wish you could pick up a TD5 for that sort of money over here!

If you want an alternate fuel for a diesel, I think you'll have to change jobs to a chip shop supplier.

There was an article in LRM that said about running 200tdi on a mix of diesel and LPG for higher performance. So there is a possibility it would seem.
