Newby towbar help

Just bought a new towbar and fitted it no probs, no drilling nice and easy . Problem is paid an extra £40 for a plug in wiring kit which is suppoed to plug into a blanked off connector in the rear light area.

Problem is there is only 1 blanked off connector which has all black wires going in which is earthed to body, and is total different to receiving connector.

Any ideas please?

are you looking at the multiplug connector which is behind the rhs boot trim on the drivers side ?

it should be stuffed down the gap where you can see the earth wires!!

also have you got the relay?

Yep, I am looking in the rear drivers side but what gap? I have found 3 connectors which are all used up, but not one with a blanking plate! will go in Garaage and have a 'feel around'

when you look behind panel you'll see the inside of the outside (?) of the car.

there will be a brace plate to which the earth block is fastened.

fish about behind there and you should find it tucked right out of the way.

do a search on here for towbar wiring cos someone uploaded the proper instructions from landrover!!
