Hi guys, after always having performance cars i took a huge step and swapped my Evo 8 for a RR l322 3.0 Diesel. Obviously its a totally different beast but upto now im enjoying the drive. I do have a couple of questions to ask.....How do i zero the trip computer? ( the display that shows average speed and milage ) and also the guy i got the RR off also gave me a thingy ma jig that he said would increace power when fitted. Its boxed and has never been used....its called a "tunit V-CR" for BMW and Range Rover. Has any one heard of or used this product? Also why do some Range Rovers have Two vent Fins and Some Have Three? Oh and wheres the cheapest place to buy Chrome type bling? Thanks guys in advance. Hunter

first of all welcome, from one newbie to another

nooooooooooooooo don't do chrome lol, chrome stuff makes them look like they belong in Chelsea when they are ment to belong in a forrest, get yourself some mud on it and it'll look cool

the tunit-v-cr box is a tuning box for common rail diesel engines (hence the cr), they basically plug in between the engine and the cars ecu and change the signals the ecu sends the engine to do things like increase bhp, torque and about a 10% increase in mpg.

Your Landrover Range Rover 3.0 TD6, 177 bhp
Your performance figures:
from 177 bhp to 215 bhp
from 289 lbs/ft to 322 lbs/ft

plenty more info available here Diesel Tuning by Tunit Diesel Performance With Over 2500 Applications

not sure on the trip computer because I don't have a RR but check this link out http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f10/trip-computer-l322-v8-hse-help-65156.html

Youtube is pretty good for videos demonstrating these things aswell as resetting service lights etc...

hope the above helps :)
