Although a bit of a Jaguar fan, hence my handle, have now and for a few years wanted a Range,so have purchased a 2001 4.6 Range Rover,nothing special,no fancy bits just a good work horse,bought it as a runner with issues........ running on about 5 or 6,stripped it down to the block to find broken rocker shaft n/s head and head gasket gone on the o/s.
Now having replaced the oil pump,sump gasket,new cam and followers,timimg chain and both sprockets,n/s rocker shaft,both head and all top gaskets,she is once again running very sweetly,having been underneath a few time over the course of the engine rebuild,had noticed that the front end had been poly bushed.
So was just wondering,is there any thing else i should look at before she goes for the MOT.Cheers Jagslag.
