P38 Range Rover “HSE” with new engine & paint work!

About my Range Rover:im very proud of my beautiful Epsom green Range Rover. Condition now is very nice

Bodywork

Bodywork is superb with maybe some minor surface sratchs

Bumpers and door mirrors are colour coded.

Front grill is colour coded and also, so are the headlamp wiper trims.

Front off side wing is brand-new.

Driver’s door is re-painted

Bonnet is re-painted

Lower rear tailgate is re-painted but the lip as mentioned above is starting to bubble again.

Front grill and lower tailgate are badged with genuine “Overfinch” “Bespoke vehicle” badges that look superb!

Interior

I replaced the tired old seats with a genuine and very expensive set of “Overfinch” lightstone seats which have factory fitted Matsumi monitors fitted in the front head rests (not connected to anything though yet).

All the leather is in almost pristine condition; which includes the driver’s seat.

The door handles & lock trims, speaker trims and ashtray are trimmed in unique, special order “VIP” gold kit.

The carpet is almost new and is a genuine red Wilton pile (very rare!) but please note that one very small panel of red carpet which should fit under the boot space CD stacker is missing because I just couldn’t obtain it from Land Rover...

Mechanics

The engine was replaced in September 2008 at a cost of approx £5000 with a Turner engineering block-the best money can buy and it is an exact replacement of the standard Land Rover production line V8 engine for the HSE with all brand-new pistons, crank, etc, etc (please visit their website for details: Turner Engineering - Remanufacturer of Land Rover Engines and supplier of Land Rover engine parts).

The engine was professionally fitted by a Land Rover specialist.

The engine has now covered approx less than 3000 miles

Both cylinder heads were reconditioned, skimmed and tested

New Water pump

New Belt tensioner

New Serpentine belt

New Front engine plate and oil pump

New gleaming black rocker covers

New coil pack & leads

New spark plugs, oil, filter and antifreeze.

Complete exhaust was replaced and is in great condition.

Brand-new Halfords heavy duty battery fitted last week.
Gearbox perfect

Front & rear brake pads were replaced last week.
Nice condition 18 inch Range Rover alloys with Pirelli tyres and over 6mm of tread on each.

Black side steps.

To sum up
My Range Rover drives very well indeed, as you would expect after all the money that I have spent on it. It drives like a dream…
