So, here's a question froma newbie to this forum.

I just moved to the USA and bought a new 2010 Range Rover HSE. Lovely thing it is to. The dealer tells me that the US spec Range Rovers do not allow the the dual view TFT screen to display TV or DVD images while the thing is moving. They tell me that the UK spec ones do allow this. And that there is a software mod to allow this. After all, it's pretty unlikely that that the US spec ones have a different set of electronics.

Now in the land of litigation, they refuse to tell me how to do this mod. So here I am, hoping that someone on this board might point me to where I could find if this mod is possible.

Any chance? Thanks. Steve

It may not be possible. The screen is going to be directional i.e. passenger looking from left and driver from right. In the states, it would be the driver looking from the left. Maybe they only made one type of screen or only one type is available at the moment? Maybe someone from somewhere else that drives on the right that has/hasn't this facility can put us straight.
