Hi, I have made a few posts so far but thought I would introduce myself.

I'm James and have just brought a low mileage P38 HSE and Love it.

Plans are to have an LPG conversion done, so if anyone can recommend how much I should be spending and anyone have experiance of an LPG installer in the Worcester / West mids areas.

Reason for the P38 choice was a couple of reasons.

Previous work horse was an Isuzu Rodeo 3litre Diesel that was only managing 18mpg!!!!! so figured for that I want a V8 rumble and then convert it.

Thought about a Disco but the boot space was a bit tight for getting the dogs in.

Current fleet are the Rangie, my Mk1 MX5 Turbo beast, and the Mrs Mondeo TDCI.

Previous cars have been varied but always a 4x4 on the drive.
4x4's have been: Rodeo, Trooper, L200, Surf, Defender 90tdi - pre passing my test I had a Series 1 project (remained a project) and a 1989 Range Rover V8 Project that put back on the road.

Car have been: BMW 1 series and 3 Series E46, Seat Leon FR, dads hand me down E39 528i. before passing my test again - MG Metro, Volvo coupe thing RWD ended up crashing it into a neighbours fence and green house when playing in the partents fields!!

Not to bad in 25yrs of life lol.

Any way, I love the P38 and the rumble the V8 makes, and that fact that for a big car if does shift when needed to. Unfortunatly so does the fuel guage!!!!

have a look in the rr section and you may find some answers. gassing is cheaper running costs but comes with its own problems.

if you were getting 18mpg then a v8rr wont be much different as standard

:welcome2:
