Newbie looking for a 90.

Hi, new to the forum although have scrolled through in the past looking for answers. Anyway I've owned a 94 Disco, a 99 Freelander, an 03 Disco 2, and an 89 pre Defender 90 with galvanised chassis. I foolishly sold this a year ago, but withdrawal symptoms are leading me to search for another Defender.

That leads me to my question. I'm in Northern Ireland and the selection for sale here is fairly small. I have my eye on one in the Chester area, and wonder if there is anyone you could recommend in that area could give it the once over, to ensure the chassis etc are sound enough, before I travel over.

Any advice welcome, thanks.

Welcome. There's a regional section to the site. Where you could see if someone can recommend a local garage/mechanic. Or you could involve the services of the AA or RAC.

No worries. Like I said if no garage forthcoming just contact the AA or RAC
