Hello - finally signed up! I have owned Discoveries down the years but I have the fondest memories for my old Series 3. I'm now besotted with a 58 plate 90 (PUMA) - I think of her whenever my head is in the clouds! The list of upgrades includes: Remove dents (done). Return her to Boost wheels (done). Sound proof her (done). New detachable steering wheel and Optimel Steering column security device (done). LED lights> Security hinges. New Bluetooth Apple Radio (next). Roofrack. New Seats. New shocks and springs. Steering damper. New bushes (throughout?). Ultimately - Get her chipped? Did I miss something or should I not bother with one of these? Would love a steer from an expert... Was thinking of spots but I think that may be over-kill - her job is to pull trailers feed field animals, get through snow drifts, and to the supermarket. But the odd Greenlane would be cool!

Welcome to LZ!

I think I would be thinking about underbody and chassis protection of some kind. Dinitrol, Bilt Hamber, etc.
Most Pumas I see had pretty poor coatings on the chassis as new, and are now suffering from surface rust on the chassis.

Hi and welcome!

Sounds like you’ve identified the best investment for your Landy, the extra security features. A tracker would also be a wise investment.

At the end of the day, buy what suits your needs and pocket. Or what you think looks good.
