Newbie in Town

Hi all,

I just wanted to introduce myself since I have only just signed up.

I dont actually own a land rover, but I just got back from Botswana where I was driving a 1989 V8 Defender 110. I was there studying large carnivores (following hunts etc)...with some nice off-roading and river crossings.

Im now applying for a PhD to get back out there, and I will need a land rover if im accepted.

So, I want to learn more about these beasts and eventually buy my own to take to Africa for the next few years/decades
