hi all and merry Christmas hope everyone has had a good one and not spent most of it on the back under a Landy

New member here had a p38 4ltr V8 many moons ago and always wanted the l322 model and just got one, obviously wanted the later models the V8 diesel but money wouldn’t stretch so got the td6 vogue with 2012 styling on so it looks the part and to be fair it’s quick and smooth enough for now. I have bought it a little tired looking and with some electrical gremlins as I heard the l322 are know for but box and engine are good so I’m happy. The battery had been flat so it seems it needs a reset or kick up the arse to sync the central locking, windows all over the place, air suspension says inactive etc etc good anyone point be in the right direction as to area on here where I might find some answers.
Thanks all oh I’m based in nantwich Cheshire

Hi Johnny, im also a newbie- been here only a week or so.
Currently got a 3.6V8 RR Sport that is my pride and joy.
I use a Land Rover Specialist in Preston- Claughton Service Centre- not a million miles from you but I suppose a decent drive if no one offers anyone nearer?

Paul at Claughton is a "proper" mechanic. none of this plug it in to find what is wrong! his prices are really good too and he is well known I believe in the North West for being on point.

Been using him for 2 years now without any issues

That’s good to know and he aint that far if I need him thanks again,
Thanks I will troll this site to see if some of my questions have been asked before and if I cannot find one I will pm @wammers if he wouldn’t mind?

Cheers

Whilst a "proper" mechanic is still a gem to find, with an L322 you need someone who understands diagnostics and has the right one. The L322 is a needy beast when it comes to electrickery and needs special care. Otherwise you will just end up with an expensive drive ornament.
