Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum and just wanted to say hi!

I'd also like to thank the organizers/moderators for what looks to be a great site! Keep up the good work.

Hi Scott,

Yes I bought a 1964 Series 11A 88" with a Rover v8 conversion a couple of weeks ago. I hope to get some pictures taken soon - and I hope that within the next week I may even find time between nappy changes and work to drive it:)

Got to get some harnesses or seat belts fitted first though!

Welcome to the forum Soundman74,

S2a with a V8? Nice! Can't beat the sound of a V8. I miss my 2 Range Rovers but don't miss the "fill up" every couple of days! You know its bad when the guy at the garage enquires if you've been ill just because you didn't pop in for your weekly fill up! Got a Diesel now, not the same but does the job.

Fed up with being a piggy bank for Mr Brown!

Thanks for your warm welcome everyone.

Fishface,

I too love the sound of a V8 especially this one as it has straight through pipes which run up through the chassis so hopefully they won't get damaged - and then into two Hedman mufflers:cool:

I'm not too concerned with the fuel consumption though as I bought the landy with the sole purpose of taking it off road (mind you that's where it'll really guzzle it). I can't wait! I know it's not going to be pretty (the bank balance that is) but at least its restricted to a couple of days a month at best:(
