Newbie from aberdeenshire

Hi folks, thought it was about time I introduced myself.

I bought a defender back in april (this year) as i've always had a soft spot for them.

Its turned into a fair old project so far as after i started poking about the bulkhead was like a piece of swiss cheese

Heres a photo when i got her home.

Do you mind me asking how old she is?

The reason I ask - I'm pretty new to Land rovers and I'm wary of buying anything that looks as good as yours but has a bulkhead like it's made of cheese

cheers, mine is a 1992 K-reg. My bulkhead had been patched over the painted

They didnt bother cutting out the rust tho, so on the outside it looked fine but once you started poking about it just got worse.
